Investigation of Er<sup>3+</sup>-Doped Phosphate Glass for L+ Band Optical Amplification

In this work, Er 3+ -doped phosphate glass with good flatness of the emission spectrum L+ band was prepared by optimizing content BaO. The absorption and spectra were measured. Increase BaO is conducive to broadening in band. dependence Raman intensity has been shown linear fitting. results show that B31 sample best It showed largest cross-section at 1630 nm 0.0529 × 10 xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">-20 cm xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2 higher than other glass. Decay curves xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">4 I 13/2 level measured longest fluorescent lifetime 10.18 ms longer except germinate achieved successfully, which provides a reference for material optical amplifiers.
